ImageWhile working on the two "Pirates Of The Carribean" films, Johnny Depp and director Gore Verbinski became fascinated with the lore and fable of the pirates and sailors who ran the high seas. Enter legendary producer Hal Wilner, who brings his knack for matching maverick musicians with extraordinary material. Artists on this double disc set include Bono, Sting, Nick Cave, Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed, Richard Thompson, Lucinda Williams, Jarvis Cocker of Pulp, and many more. "Rogue's Gallery" offers a look at the hardships, the horrors, the lusts and lurid depths, and the crystal beauty that led men to the sea in ships for hundreds of years. (Amazon.com)

Friday, 25 August 2006

As you can see Nick Cave Online has a brand new look. It's more dynamic now, portal-like look. We are currently looking for editors for posting news and some other content on the site, so if you are interested send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or use the contact form on the left side. Editors will also get e-mail account at Nick Cave Online. This is, of course, on volunteer base and you won't get paid for it, but you will be able to help in creating website for all Nick Cave fans out there. To access some parts on the site you'll have to register. This is the only way to do it because we plan to add more and more multimedia content and we had big problems with our servers recently. We will not sychronize site users with forum users because there are a bunch of users who will be banned from the Nick Cave Online and that takes time. Just check the box 'Remember me' when loging in and you will be automaticaly logged in when you came back. Please use your same account details as in forum so you won't have any problems when we sychronize users from forum. That's it for now and if you want to participate in any way send us a note.

Note: we are still working on some sections but it's just minor adjustments so the site is fully operational.
